We are proud to support TAPs and Camp Good Grief. These programs help the families of fallen soldiers. Camp Good Grief, held in May, provides an outlet for chilren who lost a parent in the armed services.

There is a particular demand for blankets, quilts and afghans featuring the colors of the flag. Let us know if you are interested in making a special blanket for these children.

Special Events and Projects

Thank you to the students at Monroe College in New Rochelle for giving up part of their President's Day to come and make blankets for Project Linus! There were about 40 college students cutting and tying and creating 25 beautiful blankets that will give 25 children a sense of security.

Materials for the event were funded by a generous grant from Orange and Rockland Utilities.

Blanketeers in Action

Blankets for TAPs

The PEO Chapter BK, based in 20 bWhite Plains had a gathering in honor of Project Linus, and Make-A-Blanket Day. These remarkable, professional women took time to create and make 20 blankets, as well as prepare additional fleece to be made into blankets at a later date.

The blankets will be labelled and distributed to 20 children who will get a sense of security.

Thank you!
