Quilting and Sewing
Quiltmaker Magazine has supported Project Linus for over 14 years. Great patterns can be found here:

Knitting and Crochet Patterns
Most major yarn companies have great patterns on their sites.
Lion Brand Yarns, lionbrand.com, has patterns in all weight of yarns for both knitters and crocheters.
Yarninspirations.com is the home for patterns featuring Caron, Patons, and Bernat yarn. Here too are patterns for kinttier and crocheters.
Knitpicks.com has lots of great patterns designed for different weight yarns. Most of the patterns are designed for knitters, but there is a separate crochet section as well.
Ravelry.com is an online community for knitters and crocheters with lots of free patterns. There are ideas and suggestions to share as well as patterns but you do need to sign up.
Check out Pinterest.com for pictures, ideas and inspiration.
Fleece and No Sew
Fleece blankets are a great, easy no sew project for girl/boy scout groups, school groups and seniors.

Joann Fabrics and Crafts, Joann.com, has no sew fleece kits, accompanied by clear directions on how to assemble the kits.
Sewing with Nancy, and her accompanying website Nancy Zieman.com is a great source for videos on different blankets, including fleece.
